International academic mobility

Academic staff and students of the ZSTU had their training at the base of appropriate EU universities in frames of the following recent Tempus projects:

  • 530644-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-ES-TEMPUS-JPCR "Security (environment, quality of food, public health and society) on Territories Contaminated by Radioactive Agents" (2012 – 2015);
  • 517138-1-2011-1-JPCR "Dual Master's Degree in Automation/Mechatronics in EU - Partner Countries" (2011-2014);
  • 517374-1-2011-1-JPCR "Communication and Information Technology for Improvement Safety and Efficiency of Traffic Flows: EU-RU-UA Master and PhD Programs in Intelligent Transport Systems" (2011-2014).

Within the Erasmus Mundus project 545653-EM-1-2013-1-PL-ERA MUNDUS-EMA21 "Atlantic Caucasus Technical Universities Initiative for Valuable Education" (2013 – 2017) academic staff, doctoral students, students are undergoing internships and/or study at the partner EU universities in Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, United Kingdom of Great Britain, and France.

In 2014-2015 and in 2015-2016 ZSTU students could study within the Polish Erasmus program in higher educational establishments of Poland.

From the beginning of the program 2201250 "Training, internships,and professional development of students, graduate students, and academic staff abroad" funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine students and teachers of ZSTU were able to undergo the training and pass the internships in the leading universities of the world, like University of Brighton, University of London (UK), University of Pennsylvania (USA), University of Florence (Italy), Technical University "Mining Academy" in Freiberg (Germany), National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (France).

International relations department is constantly involved in the grant project writing work and always collaborates with students, doctoral students and academic staff in the process of applying for individual mobility grants.
