ZSTU’s participation in international programs
ZSTU is actively taking part in preparation of projects in different areas. They are students and teachers exchange programs (Erasmus+/KA1, DAAD, OeAD, IVF, etc.), improvement of existing and development of new educational courses in accordance with advanced international standards, development and improvement of structure of higher educational institutions (Erasmus+/KA2), scientific cooperation (NATO, Horizon 2020) etc.
Erasmus+/KA1 – "International Credit Mobility"
In 2015/2016 academic year realization of Erasmus+/KA1 – “International Credit Mobility” Projects has been started at the ZSTU.
Aim of the project – organization of academic mobility of students and teachers between Universities participants.

Since 2013-2014 academic year implementation of Erasmus Mundus Program has been started.

Goal of the project – organization of academic mobility of students, post-graduate students and university teachers in Universities participants of project consortium.

In 2012 academic year ZSTU started the following project within Tempus program:
530644-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-ES-TEMPUS-JPCR "Human Security (environment, quality of food, public health and society) on Territories Contaminated by Radioactive Agents" (2012 – 2016)
Goal of the project: development of innovative Masters program for specialists in "Radioecology" majoring in "Quality control of food products” and doctoral programs on the PhD level within the framework of the transition to a three-level training system in accordance with the Bologna Declaration. It is foreseen by the project to coordinate curricula in the Master’s program. As a result students of Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian universities-participants of the project will be able to get a dual diploma – one of Ukrainian/Russian/Belarusian university and one of the universities of EU that participate in the project.

In 2011 – 2012 academic year ZSTU continued participation in project within Tempus program:
517138-1-2011-1-JPCR "EU-PC Double Degree Master Program in Automation/Mechatronics" (2011-2014)
Goal of the project: creation of the educational program concerning the preparation of masters in "Automation/Mechatronics" according to European standards.
The project will allow students from Ukrainian and Russian Universities-participants to get a dual degree (one of Russian/Ukrainian universities and one of the EU universities participating in the project) after successful completion of the Master’s course at the Technical University of Liberec, or at the Technical University of Sofia or in the Blaise Pascal University.

Goal of the project: creation of the advanced master's program concerning the preparation of masters in "Intelligent Transport Systems" and the doctoral program of the Ph.D. level (PhD) in the framework of a three-level training in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna Declaration.
The coordination of curricula for Master program is also foreseen by the project. It will enable students from Ukrainian and Russian universities-participants to obtain a double diploma – one of Ukrainian/Russian universities and one of the EU universities involved in the project.

Goal of the project: the creation of an educational program to prepare Masters of the software development in accordance with European standards. The project will give Ukrainian students an opportunity to obtain a double diploma (Ukrainian and Polish or Czech) after successful completion of the Master course at the Technical University of Wroclaw and the Technical University of Liberec.

As part of this project in 2005 International Summer School "Education of the newest technologies on biological restoration of ecological landscapes which are contaminated with chemical and radiological substances" took place in ZSTU. About 80 representatives of foreign universities and institutions from the USA, Turkey, Egypt and a lot from European countries participated in the work of Summer School.
